Rangers boss Michael Beale has praised Ryan Kent, Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield. He loves the trio’s recent displays following him taking over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst at Ibrox.
The Gers elected to sack Van Bronckhorst after just one year in charge last month with the Glasgow club nine points off the top of the Premiership table. Beale has since overseen an unbeaten start to his tenure. Rangers afforded the 42-year-old a contract through to 2026.

Beale is still waiting for a first clean sheet in charge after claiming back-to-back 3-2 wins in his opening fixtures. But Kent, Jack and Arfield have made their mark on the Englishman in their two games since the World Cup. Rangers will now bid to go three for three on Friday.

Rangers travel to Ross County on Friday night looking to maintain Beale’s unbeaten record. Arfield delivered late to avoid dropping points at Aberdeen on Tuesday with goals after 95’ and 97 minutes. While Jack scored once during the Gers’ win over Hibernian last Thursday.
Beale has now stated that Arfield will come into the Rangers line-up at Ross County after a brace from the bench against Aberdeen. The 34-year-old featured for the final 32 minutes. He has not opened a Premiership fixture since drawing 1-1 with Livingston on October 22.

Michael Beale has ‘seen a jump’ in Rangers star Kent since taking charge at Ibrox
Kent had endured his own troubles this term before Beale replaced Van Bronckhorst in the Rangers hot seat. The 26-year-old has scored just once over 15 Premiership appearances in 2022/23 so far. Although he has laid on seven assists and started 14 of his league matches.
Beale saw Kent produce his last assist in his first fixture in charge to pull level at 1-1 against Hibernian. Rangers went on to win 3-2 after falling behind again. While Kent often showed most of his promise in the first half against Aberdeen. He would also lack an end product.

Yet Beale is pleased with Kent’s bounce since he arrived in the Rangers dugout. Jack and Arfield also impressed the ex-Queens Park Rangers boss ahead of facing Ross County.
“I think you’ve seen a jump in Ryan Kent’s form,” Beale told Sky Sports. “Ryan Jack is in the team and playing well. Scott Arfield did himself no harm with two goals [against Aberdeen] and he will come into the team.”
