Davinson Sanchez has labelled Serge Aurier as ‘the boss’ on Instagram, as the one-time Tottenham Hotspur star has returned to the Premier League.
On transfer deadline day, Nottingham Forest capped off a sensational summer window by securing the talents of Aurier, who was their 22nd capture.
When Aurier posted footage of himself on social media training, Sanchez posted in the comments section ‘the boss’, whilst Aurier replied ‘see you soon’.

Well, on the field of play, the duo won’t be meeting anytime soon because Forest and Spurs locked horns last month, with Antonio Conte’s side securing all three points.
But there is the small matter of the duo meeting again just before the start of the 2022 World Cup in November because Spurs make that same trip to the City Ground for an EFL Cup tie, before they welcome the newly-promoted side to north London in March.
Aurier joined Forest as a free-agent, so he has his work cut out to earn those regular minutes, especially given how bulked up Steve Cooper’s side is.

AURIER TRYING TO FIND A REGULAR HOME
When Aurier and Spurs decided to tear up his contract last summer, he ended up in Spain and donning the colours of Villarreal.
The Ivory Coast star joined a number of ex-Spurs players showcasing their worth under Unai Emery, including the thriving Juan Foyth.
Villarreal ended up reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, after winning the Europa League the season before, in what was a tremendous run by the club.
But the La Liga side opted against keeping Aurier on board and he is now trying to find that regular home again so he can try to get his career back on track.
