Well, Liverpool won’t be signing Patson Daka this summer.
That’s because former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has actually won the race to sign the red-hot attacker.
Leicester City confirmed via their Twitter account on Wednesday that they had signed the player in a £23 million deal.
Anfield was touted as a potential destination for Daka [Zambian Football] and talks were even held, with the man himself scoring 34 goals in 42 games for Salzburg across all competitions last season.

Did Liverpool need him?
Well, yes and no.
It remains to be seen if Klopp specifically needed Daka, although his goal return certainly makes him a fascinating signing by the Foxes.
But Liverpool do certainly need additional wide support this summer.
Sadio Mane is brilliant but 16 goals in all competitions last season was a surprisingly low for a player of his abilities.
And although the German manager still has Diogo Jota, he is more a number nine and more comparable to Roberto Firmino than anyone else.
If Daka takes the Premier League by storm – and he might – then this will be looked at as a mistake by Liverpool.
