The former Crystal Palace forward – who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports – believes that Brewster would be a very good signing for Sheffield United.
Morrison has been impressed with the 20-year-old striker’s finishing ability, having watched him in action for Swansea City last season.
The England Under-21 international spent the second half of last season on loan at Swansea from Liverpool, and scored 11 goals in 22 Championship matches, according to WhoScored.
According to The Daily Mail, Chris Wilder’s United are interested in signing the youngster in the summer transfer window, with Liverpool looking for £25 million as transfer fee for him.
Morrison said about Brewster on Sky Sports News (12:59pm, September 26, 2020): “Yeah, I think he is a good player. I watched him a lot last season at Swansea, and he really looked good in the Championship.
“His movement’s really good, and he can finish. His finishing ability is second to none. I think he would be a really, really good signing for Sheffield United.”
Should Rhian Brewster leave Liverpool?
Brewster is unlikely to get much playing time for the Liverpool first team this season, and it would make sense for him to find another club in the Premier League.
However, the Reds should not cash in on the striker just yet, and perhaps the Premier League champions should send him out on loan, as he has the potential to make it big at Anfield in the future.
