Some Arsenal fans on Twitter aren’t happy about Bruno Mazziotti’s departure from the North London club.

Arsenal have elected against giving the Brazilian coach a new contract.

As a result, Mazziotti has left the Gunners along with long-serving Steve Bould, who has been axed after 30 years of service.

Mazziotti joined the Premier League club as part of Mikel Arteta’s performance and medical team at London Colney only last year, signing from Paris Saint-Germain.

He has since gained something of a cult following among Arsenal fans and here’s how some supporters reacted to his departure:

The Gunners are clearly trying to breathe fresh life into the behind-the-scenes goings-on at the training ground.

Bould and Mazziotti’s departure both indicate as much and it’ll be interesting to see who comes in over the summer.

Arsenal clearly have a lot to do and we haven’t been talked about how much on-the-field recruitment they need over the coming months as they look to prosper during the 2021-22 campaign.

With Arteta’s side unable to finish higher than seventh in the Premier League this season with one game left, this is the club’s worst term since 1996 and improvement is paramount next time around.
