Sean Goss became Glasgow Rangers’ first signing in the January window, arriving at Ibrox on loan until the end of the season.

Goss became Graeme Murty’s first signing of the January transfer window, arriving from Queens Park Rangers on loan for the rest of the season after a frustrating time at Loftus Road which has seen him go through the first-half of the campaign without making an appearance for the Championship outfit.

And he explained how former Rangers defender Hill helped convince him that a temporary move to Ibrox was the right decision for him at this stage of his career.
“I also spoke to Clint who was at QPR and he gave me a real insight into what it means to play here.

“He really got immersed in it while he was at Rangers so that helped me make my decision.”
If Goss ends up enjoying anything like the spell that Hill had with the Scottish Premiership side, then the Rangers fans will surely be extremely pleased as the veteran defender is something of a cult-hero amongst the Ibrox faithful.
The 39-year-old was only with the Gers for one season, but certainly managed to win the fans round with his tireless performances that often put some of his teammates to shame – and the fact that he scored a late equaliser at Parkhead certainly did his reputation amongst the supporters no harm at all.
And Hill’s spell – which only lasted one season – should perfectly prove to Goss exactly what he needs to do to make his stay with Rangers as successful as possible.
