Everton beat Cardiff City 2-1 at Goodison Park earlier today.
An injury-time winner from Seamus Coleman gave Everton all three points against Cardiff City on Saturday.
The Bluebirds looked to have won a much-needed point when Juan Cala knocked in a Peter Whittingham free-kick to equalise after Gerard Deulofeu’s deflected shot had opened the scoring. But Coleman had the last laugh with a miscued effort that found the back of the net.
The result means Everton remain firmly in the race for a European place, with Roberto Martinez’s men just two points behind Tottenham and with a game in hand.
Cardiff, on the other hand, remain embroiled in a relegation scrap that shows no sign of getting any easier.
