The Leeds United left-back will spend the rest of the season at Scunthorpe United.

Scunthorpe United fans are giving their verdicts on Tom Pearce’s debut on loan from Leeds United.
The Leeds left-back moved to Scunthorpe on loan at the end of last month, but spent the first game of his Irons spell, a 2-0 defeat against Barnsley last weekend, sat on the bench.
He was brought into the starting line-up on Saturday, however, and subsequently helped his temporary employers to a 2-0 win against Accrington Stanley.
But what did those of a Scunthorpe persuasion make of Pearce’s performance?
This is what they’re saying on Twitter and Instagram…

@evansmith2006 for his first game he looked very good to be fair, you’d have thought he’d played with us for a while.
Pearce broke into Leeds’ first-team plans towards the end of Paul Heckingbottom’s spell as manager, and his displays are said to have attracted interest from Premier League clubs including Everton [The Sun].
But the 20-year-old has struggled for opportunities on Heckingbottom’s successor, Marcelo Bielsa, who made another left-back, Barry Douglas, one of his marquee summer signings.

The Liverpudlian still has three-and-a-half years left on his contract at Leeds.
What does the future hold for Pearce at Elland Road?
