Leeds ace signs for Scunthorpe on loan.

Leeds United defender Tom Pearce has a fresh opportunity after joining Scunthorpe United on loan.
Scunthorpe announced the deal on transfer deadline day via their official website.
Pearce broke into the Leeds first team last season under Paul Heckingbottom but has since found chances limited under new manager Marcelo Bielsa.
This has been swayed by Leeds signing Barry Douglas from Wolves last summer to be the first choice left-back.
Yet even when Douglas was injured, Bielsa chose to call on teenager Leif Davis instead of the England under-21 international.

This is an opportunity for 20-year-old Pearce to get back on track.
He is the second left-back sent out on loan by Leeds, with fellow academy graduate Tyler Denton at Peterborough United since last summer.
Pearce’s move to Scunthorpe has come about due to an injury to former Leeds loanee Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, who had been a regular this season until recently.
Here is a look at how Scunthorpe fans reacted on Twitter to the Pearce move…
