Scottie Scheffler’s PGA Tour record over the past four years is truly remarkable.
Scheffler has won 20 times since February 2022, including an impressive four major championships.
However, the 30-year-old world number one has clearly not been at his best so far in 2026.
That said, Scottie Scheffler still has one win to his name on the PGA Tour this year, as well as eight top-5 finishes in 13 starts and he still hasn’t finished outside the top-25 since August 2024.
Despite his recent battles with his swing, Scheffler is still the best golfer on the planet, by quite some distance too.

The Dallas native is one of the PGA Tour’s two biggest stars, alongside Rory McIlroy, of course.
So it was interesting to hear him talk about the incoming changes announced by Brian Rolapp on Tuesday.
Scottie Scheffler says why it will soon be harder to win on the PGA Tour
Rolapp has outlined his plan to implement two new series on the PGA Tour in 2028 – the Championship Series and the Challenger Series.
Promotion and relegation will come into play, with halfway cuts making a return in every single event.
Scheffler addressed the media on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the start of the Travelers Championship.
He responded when asked what he made of the proposed changes that will be implemented on the PGA Tour in 2028.
“Yeah, I would say I think I have had a little time to digest it, I don’t really have a ton to say about it,“ the world number one admitted.
“But I think we’re moving in the right direction for sure.

“I think what people want is to get the best players playing together more often. I’m not sure if the smaller fields were a huge fan favorite, so getting fields back to 120-man fields, getting a cut back, I think it’s a good change.
“I think getting — the more I think we can simplify it for people, the better. Especially when you’re looking at tournaments stretched across an entire season.
“So kind of the simplifying of you’re going to see the same, you know, 120 guys most of the time at the same tournaments across the country throughout our season. I think it’s really good. I think it’s easier for our fans to follow. Hopefully it will make them more interested.
Better events and increased competition incoming on the PGA Tour
Scheffler continued to highlight how much better the new system will be for the players.
“I think the competition will get better,“ he said.
“I think when you look at larger fields it will be much harder to win tournaments, it will be different than the old days on TOUR where you could win a tournament where there wasn’t many of the top players playing.
“I think starting in 2028 a win in the Championship Series, when you win one of those tournaments they will have some serious significance to it because you’ll have beaten pretty much all of the best players in the world in order to do it.
“So I’m excited about it. I think the competition will get better, play good golf courses and play against the best players in the world. I mean, for a player, I don’t think you could really ask for much more.“
