Viktor Hovland posted a third-round 64 on Saturday at the Travelers Championship to leapfrog Scottie Scheffler at the top of the leaderboard.
After Scheffler posted a 60 on Friday at the Travelers, many expected him to cruise to his 21st PGA Tour victory.
However, Hovland had other ideas.

Viktor Hovland played an incredibly impressive round of golf on day three at the Travelers Championship, and 64 was about the worst score he could have possibly shot.
Now Scottie Scheffler trails the Norwegian by one stroke heading into the final round on Sunday in Cromwell, Connecticut.
Scheffler is the best golfer in the world by quite some margin, and he has been for four years now.
So Hovland overtaking him on Saturday at the Travelers was no mean feat.

The world number one didn’t necessarily play poorly at TPC River Highlands on Saturday.
However, he obviously wasn’t at his very best, and now he will tee off on Saturday as the hunter rather than the hunted.
Scottie Scheffler responded when asked by reporters what he made of the conditions on Saturday, and whether he was happy with his performance.
“Yeah, I think the conditions tomorrow should be pretty similar to what they were today,“ he said.
“Definitely a lot of birdies out there. So, you know, got to be hitting some shots and holing in putts, as well.
“I felt I was good with my irons today. Could have hit a few more fairways. Just hit a lot of good putts today. Just kind of right around the edge.“

Scheffler was asked whether the Travelers Championship is now just a two-horse race between himself and Hovland.
And in typical Scheffler style, he didn’t really give too much away.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s still a little early in the tournament,“ the world number one admitted.
“This is a golf course where you can see some numbers be shot. You know, guys can shoot pretty low.
“Going into tomorrow just try to execute, have a good round, and see where that puts me.“
