Scott Sinclair has been a huge success at Celtic since his move from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £3 million.

The former Chelsea and Manchester City winger has helped Celtic to two successive domestic trebles, as the Glasgow giants continue their domination of Scottish football.

Back in March, The Daily Mail claimed of interest in Sinclair from Premier League duo Brighton and Hove Albion and Bournemouth.

Sinclair – who earns £25,000 per week as salary at Celtic according to The Daily Star – has made it clear that he loves life at the Bhoys and is not planning to leave the Glasgow giants in the summer transfer window.

“We’ve been here for two years now, and we’re happy living in Glasgow,” Sinclair told The Scottish Sun. “I love Celtic and I love playing in front of 60,000 most weeks. The fans are amazing and I’ve got no reason to leave.”

Achieving more success

Some of Sinclair’s performances last season were not great, but there is no doubt that the winger is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in the current Celtic team.

For Celtic to win the domestic treble again next season and to progress to the group stage of the Champions League, Sinclair will have to be on top of his game.
