Scott Sinclair has reacted to Celtic’s latest win on Twitter.

Brendan Rodgers’s side thumped Motherwell 4-1 at Parkhead on Sunday to restore their eight-point lead over Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race.

Sinclair, a £3.5 million signing in 2016 [Eurosport], got the scoring underway yesterday and, in doing so, the 29-year-old winger made it 12 goals in his last 14 games for the Hoops.

The Bhoys have a big game on Wednesday when they visit Hearts and ‘we go again’ was the post-match message from the Englishman.

If Celtic can get past Craig Levein’s side this week then they will start looking forward to an eighth successive title.

Not that a victory at Hearts would sew things up because, as Rangers proved yesterday they won’t be surrendering easily, but it would be a big step closer to the title.

Speculation about a move to Leicester City for the Northern Irishman [The Guardian] might be a bit of a distraction, but Celtic need to focus on the things that they can control and influence – the result.
