Celtic won against Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Celtic winger Scott Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s victory over Albion Rovers away from home.

Brendan Rodgers’s side got the better of Rovers 3-0 at the Exsel Group Stadium in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Sinclair put the Hoops in the lead on the half-hour mark, Dembele doubled the advantage on 77 minutes, and Stuart Armstrong wrapped up the scoring in the 90th minute.

The 27-year-old former Manchester City and Aston Villa winger has taken to Twitter and Instagram to revel in the victory, and has also expressed his delight at the return to action of Kieran Tierney.

Tierney made his comeback after three months and played for the first 62 minutes of the encounter.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has also welcomed the return to competition action of the 19-year-old Scotland international left-back.

“Kieran looked like he had never been away,” Rodgers told The Glasgow Evening Times. “He is dynamic on that left-side and he and Scott have a great relationship. It was great. The plan was to give him 60-65 minutes on an astroturf field.”

Celtic will face Scottish Premiership rivals Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Celtic Park in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup.
