Scott Sinclair praises Celtic teammate Olivier Ntcham

Olivier Ntcham joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Celtic winger Scott Sinclair has told The Scottish Sun that his teammate Olivier Ntcham is growing confident with each and every game.

Ntcham joined Scottish Premiership club Celtic from Premier League side Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

According to BBC Sport, the Hoops had to pay the Citizens a transfer fee of around £4.5 million in order to secure the services of the 21-year-old midfielder.

The France Under-21 international has arrived at Celtic Park with a strong reputation and played for the Bhoys in their Champions League qualifier earlier this week.

Ntcham played well for Celtic in their 5-0 victory over FC Astana in the first leg of the Champions League playoff round at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening.

Celtic winger Sinclair has praised the 21-year-old midfielder and told The Scottish Sun: “It is great to hear that Stuart looks like staying.

“He’s a great player. Hopefully he will get his situation sorted out. Look, it’s always the case when things take some time.

“And Olivier Ntcham was great. In every game you can see him growing more confident and that’s what the gaffer brings out in the players here.”

Since Sinclair’s aforementioned comments, Stuart Armstrong has signed a new two-year contract with Celtic, who won the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup last season.
