The winger completed a move from Aston Villa on Sunday.
Scott Sinclair has told Celtic’s official website he is hoping that Brendan Rodgers can get the best out of him once again now that they have reunited in Scotland.
The winger join the club on Sunday as he completed a move from Championship side Aston Villa.
He is the club’s fourth signing of the summer, joining Kristoffer Ajer, Kolo Toure and Moussa Dembele in making the move to Celtic Park.
The switch sees him reuniting with former manager Rodgers after the two previously worked together at Swansea City.
He enjoyed his best form under Rodgers as the Swans secured promotion to the Premier League in 2011 and he says he is hoping to rekindle that relationship at Celtic.
“The manager had a great influence when I was at Swansea that’s when I played my best football,” he told the club’s official website.
“Hopefully now I can get the best football out of myself and get my form back out there. I’m just hoping to come here, score some goals, create chances and hopefully excite the fans.”
It now remains to be seen whether Sinclair can find his best form under Rodgers once again.
The forward’s career has stalled in recent years, with him failing to find his feet at either Manchester City or Aston Villa, managing just 12 goals in 96 games.
As already mentioned he has previously flourished under Rodgers though and will be hoping that proves to be the case in Scotland in the coming months.
