Celtic winger Scott Sinclair has told The Daily Record that the only team who can stop them from winning matches is themselves.

The Glasgow giants have gone 63 domestic games in Scotland unbeaten – a new British record.

The Hoops have the best and the strongest team in the Scottish Premiership, and they are set to win the league title yet again this season.

Sinclair told The Daily Record: “Is ourselves the only thing that can stop us? That’s it because when you look what we’ve achieved it’s down to us.

“We need to keep improving, not get complacent and keep moving in the right direction. It is down to us and taking every game as it comes. That’s what we’ve done.”

It is a remarkable achievement from Celtic to have gone 63 domestic games in Scotland unbeaten, and it is hard to envisage the Hoops stopping anytime soon.

What will be interesting to see is how manager Brendan Rodgers keeps the motivation level of his players high.

Sinclair has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Aston Villa in the Championship for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £3 million.
