Celtic duo Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele have taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the fans for their support against Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

The Bhoys got the better of Old Firm rivals Rangers 5-1 at home in the Scottish Premiership.

France Under-20 international forward Dembele, who joined Celtic in the summer transfer window after leaving Fulham at the end of last season, was the star of the show for the home team.

The 20-year-old forward scored a hat-trick to help Brendan Rodgers’s side to a convincing victory.

Dembele has taken to Twitter to thank the Celtic fans for their support on Saturday, and so has winger Sinclair, who joined the Glasgow giants from Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko and winger Patrick Roberts, currently on loan from Manchester City, have also taken to Twitter to revel in the win.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Celtic had 57% of the possession, took 20 shots of which nine were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Rangers had 43% of the possession, took six shots of which two were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.
