Tottenham Hotspur haven’t yet found themselves a new manager.

Jose Mourinho lost his job as Spurs boss in April, and has already walked into a new job with Roma.

Spurs haven’t found a replacement yet though, and appear to have already missed out on the likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Jesse Marsch and Erik ten Hag.

One name being mentioned is Scott Parker, who was linked by the Daily Mail last month and continues to be backed.

Spurs ace Ryan Sessegnon has told talkSPORT that he thinks a move for Parker ‘would be great’, having worked with him at Fulham.

Parker has now responded to these suggestions, telling West London Sport that he isn’t paying any attention to talk surrounding a Spurs return.

Parker thinks he would ‘go crazy’ if he listened to speculation, whether it’s regarding his own future or situations surrounding his players.

“You know what, I don’t take a lot of notice of what is said and written,” said Parker, who had spells at Spurs as a player and coach. If I listened to half of it, I would go crazy, and not just this speculation – but everything.”

“Every week there will be a different story in the way we play, the way we don’t play, who’s going there, who’s leaving, who’s staying, who’s not happy,” he added.

Parker spent two years with Spurs as a player and started his coaching career wit hthe club, so he certainly has ties to Tottenham.

He has though just suffered relegation with Fulham, and whilst his side played well at times this season, it would be a huge leap to go from Fulham to Spurs, who have top four ambitions.
