Tottenham youngster Phoenix Patterson impressed at the weekend.

It could be a little while yet, but Tottenham winger Phoenix Patterson could one day become the dynamic winger the club are in need of.
The 17-year-old impressed at the weekend for the under-18s, scoring a hat-trick in a 6-3 win over Brighton.
Patterson also provided an assist in the victory, with one of his three goals coming direct from a free-kick.

Under-18s coach Scott Parker was impressed with his performance and singled him out for praise after the game.
Parker told Tottenham’s official website: “I thought Phoenix was very good. He’s going in the right direction and he’s improved – with a lot of others – since the start of the season.
“It’s always hard when you come into the building full-time but he’s going from strength to strength. Technically he’s very good, out of possession he’s improving a lot as well so I was pleased for him today.”
Patterson is part of Tottenham’s FA Youth Cup squad and is in his first full season with the under-18s.
The High Wycombe born talent is certainly becoming a standout performer in a side boasting prolific young strikers Reo Griffiths and Rodel Richards.
Spurs’ under-18s had an inconsistent start to the season but in recent weeks they have really hit form and the progression of young players like Patterson is a key reason why.
