Fulham are reportedly keen on Tottenham midfielder.
Fulham are reportedly considering a swap deal with Tottenham for Ryan Sessegnon.
The Telegraph report Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou are possible Fulham signings, with Spurs looking to pay £20 million for Sessegnon.
In the case of Onomah in particular, Fulham boss Scott Parker could be very keen.
Parker namechecked Onomah last year when talking about how working with Tottenham’s academy helped him get started in coaching after retiring as a player.
He told The Guardian back in 2016: “I do some coaching down at Fulham, and I did a lot at Spurs with [the head of coaching and player development] John McDermott. I was coaching people like Josh Onomah and Harry Winks.”
Parker evidently knows the midfielder well and could believe he can be the manager to get the best out of the England under-20 World Cup winner.
If the Fulham boss has been doing his analysis on Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, he won’t fail to have noticed that the Frenchman’s finest moment for Spurs came against his side.
N’Koudou set up a winner for Harry Winks back in January at Craven Cottage, while Claudio Ranieri was still manager.
Neither player have reached their potential, which is why Tottenham are open to letting them go.
For Fulham, they are both worth taking a punt on, seeing as losing Sessegnon looks likely. In the case of Onomah, Parker has real reason to hope he can make him click.
