Patrick Bamford is struggling for goals for Leeds United at the moment.

The former Chelsea and West Ham United left-back, who now works as a presenter on Sky Sports, believes that Bamford has “great talent”, and that the 26-year-old is working harder this season that he did in 2018-19.
Minto told Football League World about Bamford: “There’s a lot of criticism that gets thrown at Patrick Bamford, and while I’m not his biggest fan, I do think that he has great talent and this season I’ve seen him up his game in terms of movement, his work ethic and his ability to battle with defenders.”

Stats
Bamford has made 15 appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest prospect made 16 starts and seven substitute appearances in the league for the West Yorkshire outfit, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Criticism
Goals has dried up for Bamford, who is struggling to find the opposition net in recent weeks and has been criticised by Leeds fans.
There have been calls for Arsenal-owned striker Eddie Nketiah to start games for Leeds, but with the youngster now on the sidelines, it seems that Bamford will retain his place in the starting lineup.
