According to The Sun, Manchester United are considering letting Scott McTominay leave on loan in the January transfer window, with Leeds United and Aston Villa reported to have been interested in the central midfielder in the summer transfer window.

The British tabloid has claimed that Leeds and Villa made advances for the 21-year-old, but United reportedly turned down them.

It is quite conceivable that the Whites and the Villans could go back for the youngster in the January transfer window, and if that happens, then the Scotland international – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – should pick Marcelo Bielsa’s side over Dean Smith’s team.

Both Leeds and Villa are massive clubs and are aiming to finish in the Championship playoffs this season.

The Whites, though, have the momentum, and in head coach Marcelo Bielsa, McTominay will get to work with someone who can and does improve players.

Bielsa is one of the best and most respective football coaches, and working with the Leeds boss is only going to make the 21-year-old a better footballer.
