Derby County star Scott Malone reflects on the club’s season.

Derby County star Scott Malone has sent his first message on social media since the club’s play-off final defeat.
The Rams missed out on promotion after losing 2-1 in the play-off final to Aston Villa.
Derby had rallied to finish sixth in the league and beat Leeds in the semi-finals.
Malone said on Twitter that the season had been one of the best of his career so far.
The 28-year-old made 29 appearances for Derby in the league, but missed the play-off final after a late red card against Leeds after picking up a second booking.
The left-back joined last summer from Premier League side Huddersfield Town, penning a three year deal.
Ashley Cole’s arrival limited Malone’s game time, but with his future uncertain, Malone is the best bet to be Derby’s starter at left-back next season.
