Aston Villa announced Dean Smith as their new manager last night.

Scott Hogan has shown his joy that Dean Smith has been appointed as Aston Villa with a simple post on Instagram.
Hogan worked with Smith at Brentford, with the new Villa manager getting the very best out of him.
And the striker seemed delighted that he would be linking up with Smith again at Villa Park.
Hogan has endured a difficult time at Villa since arriving in a £12 million move (BBC Sport), with Steve Bruce failing to ever get the best out of him.
The forward has played in a number of different positions across the front line during his time at Villa, and never scored with much regularity.

Hogan has missed most of this season with injury, but he is nearing a return just in time for Smith’s first games as Villa boss.
Smith will be in the Villa dugout for the first time in two weekends’ time, when his side take on Swansea City.
