Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan has scored just once since moving from Brentford.
Scott Hogan has admitted to Aston Villa’s official website that he is not happy with his start at Villa Park.
Hogan joined Villa in the January transfer window from Brentford, but he is yet to show his top form in the Midlands.
Hogan has scored just once since arriving at Villa, and while he says that it was a relief to get off the mark, the striker wants to improve his tally.
“It was a relief [to score], but one goal isn’t enough. So while it’s nice to get off the mark, I’m not happy at the minute,” Hogan said.
Hogan’s time at Villa so far has been blighted by injury, with the striker struggling to stay out of the treatment room.
The 25-year-old has made 13 appearances for the claret and blues so far, but many of these have been as a substitute.
Hogan is expected to be a key player for Villa next season, as they go for promotion.
The claret and blues will go into the new campaign as one of the favourites to make it into the Premier League.
