Celtic and Rangers meet in the Scottish League Cup semi-final this weekend.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Celtic captain Scott Brown has warned that this weekend’s clash with Rangers will not be as easy as the last time they met.
The two rivals face off this weekend in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup and will be the second clash between the two teams this season.
The first Old Firm derby proved to be a memorable occasion for Brendan Rodgers side as they ran out comfortable 5-1 winners in a rout at Celtic Park.

That result has left the Hoops faithful expecting a similar scoreline this weekend but Brown has insisted that will not be the case.
“They have been more solid and have a more steady team as well, it hasn’t been chopped and changed,” he told the Daily Mail.
“It will be a lot tighter. Everyone thinks it is going to be three, four, five nothing for us again because we scored five goals, but it is going to be a lot harder game.”

That first game earlier this season was a chastening experience for Mark Warburton and his team, who many had hoped to see challenge their rivals this year.
The Gers boss’ tactics were heavily criticised following the game, with some believing they had played into Celtic’s hands with their attempts to play an open, attacking game.
And Brown has predicted as a result that Rangers will have learned their lessons and changed their approach to this game.
“They will have watched us closely in the last couple of weeks knowing this game was coming up,” he added.
“They will play a bit differently. I don’t think they will be as open as they were at Celtic Park, but we will have to see what team they put out and who fancies it more on the day.”
