Celtic are ramping up their preparation for the Champions League qualifiers.

Celtic have been ramping up their pre-season preparations, and it seems that the players are impressing the Parkhead staff.
The Bhoys kick off their Champions League qualifying campaign next week, and Neil Lennon is putting his players through their paces ahead of the game.
A Celtic side took on St Gallen Under-21’s earlier today, and came up with a thumping 9-1 win, and their first team take on St Gallen first team this evening.
Lennon will be hoping everybody comes through unscathed, especially as his players appear to have made a strong start to pre-season.
Captain Scott Brown has told The Scottish Sun that everybody is in good shape right now, and Lennon and the rest of the Celtic coaching staff have been saying just how great everybody has looked after themselves in the off-season.
Brown also raved about boss Lennon, joking that he nearly joined in with running just days ago, but praised him for cheering on the players during fitness drills when other managers would have left them to it.

“Everyone is in good shape. The manager and coaching staff have said how much everyone has looked after themselves,” said Brown. “Sometimes you can lose fitness quickly, even during a short time off, but we’ve hit peak numbers already and ahead of this time last year.”
“The manager has been fantastic since coming back. We were doing the running the other day and he almost thought about joining in. Almost! But he was there cheering us on when most managers would leave us to it when it’s a 40-minute fitness session,” he added.
That’s all hugely encouraging for Celtic, as not only are fitness levels high already, but there appears to be a great atmosphere in training ahead of the new season, when Celtic will be looking for a ninth league title in a row.
