Scott Brown says he is not bothered by negative criticism from the fans and critics.
Celtic skipper, Scott Brown, has said that negative criticism does not bother him. In fact, it pushes him to do better.
The 32-year-old has claimed that it works as a motivation for him to force critics to eat their own words.
Brown joined Celtic in 2007 from Hibernian, and made over 400 appearances for the Bhoys in all competitions.
He is a great professional and a role model, but there were some who doubted his ability when he joined the Parkhead club.

Brown was also slated as a captain and was criticized when he decided to quit Scotland. Fans slagged him off for changing his mind again.
The midfielder remarked that he is not bothered by what fans and critics think about him, as he only focusses on doing the job for Scotland and Celtic.
The Celtic skipper, however, has revealed that there were times when he felt that his days might have been numbered.
He added that the arrival of Brendan Rodgers has energized him. Brown has enjoyed a superb 2016/17 campaign, and sees no reason why he cannot maintain his levels for a few more years.
“I don’t give a monkey’s. People can think whatever they want of me. I do my job for Scotland and for Celtic,” as Brown, as quoted by The Daily Record.
“I work as hard as I can. I do what I need to do in training – and outside – to be the best I can be. You need a thick skin to do this.
“The criticism? That’s life. People can write on Twitter or Instagram or whatever. It doesn’t bother me.
“I enjoy seeing comments like ‘Scotty…you’re s****’! I think: ‘I know mate… but I’m still playing and I’m 32!’ I’m just here to prove everyone wrong – even the sports science guys here.”
