Scott Brown has committed his long-term future to Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.

Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has taken to Twitter and Instagram to express his delight at signing a new contract with the Glasgow giants.
As announced on Celtic’s official website on January transfer deadline day, Brown has signed a new two-year contract extension with the Glasgow giants.
This means that the former Scotland international midfielder will stay at Celtic until 2021.
The 33-year-old has taken to Twitter and Instagram to express his delight at committing his long-term future to Celtic.
Important player
Brown has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.
The Scottish midfielder is a serial winner and has helped the Hoops clinch the Scottish league title eight times, the Scottish Cup on four occasions and the Scottish League Cup five times.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from Celtic, with The Glasgow Evening Times reporting of Western Melbourne’s interest in signing him in the summer of 2019.
However, with Brown now committing his future to the Hoops, it seems that the midfielder will not leave Celtic Park at the end of the season.
