Celtic midfielder Scott Brown says that Craig Gordon was fantastic during his spell at Sunderland in England.

Gordon has been on the books of Celtic since 2014 and is one of the best goalkeepers in the Scottish Premiership.
Brown is one of the best midfielders in Scotland and has been on the books of the Bhoys since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.

The 32-year-old Scotland international midfielder has praised his Celtic teammate, and believes that the Glasgow giants are lucky to have him.
The former Hibernian star has also stated that his Scotland international teammate Gordon was fantastic during his spell at Sunderland and would have played more games had he not been injured.
The ex-Heart of Midlothian goalkeeper played for the Black Cats in the Premier League from 2007 until 2012.

“Had it not been for his injuries then he would have had a lot more caps and played more games for Sunderland, and he was fantastic down there,” Brown told The Glasgow Evening Times about Gordon.
“We are lucky to have him now, and it also helps me…as at least there is one person in the team who is older than me!”
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 20 points from eight matches, level on points with second-placed Aberdeen.
