Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win against Hamilton Academical, and it is quite understated.

Brendan Rodgers’s side maintained their good run of form with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Hamilton at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Scott Sinclair scored the goals for the home team.

Brown started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 33-year-old former Scotland international midfielder – who has been on the books of the Hoops since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million – has taken to Twitter to post a rather understated way.

The win against Hamilton means that Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 48 points from 22 matches, three points clear of second-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have played 23 games.

Celtic will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on St Johnstone at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
