Scott Brown has raved about Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips on ITV (1:26pm, June 17, 2021).
The former Celtic midfielder has said that the work-rate of the Leeds and England international midfielder is “phenomenal”.
Brown said about Phillips on ITV (1:26pm, June 17, 2021): “His work rate is phenomenal. I think that’s all though in training with Marcelo. His mentality is to work extremely hard, no matter what happens.”
Huge praise
Brown, who is now at Aberdeen, is a Celtic legend.
The Scotsman is known for his combative and hard nature in the middle of the park.
Brown is one of the best midfielders to have played in Scotland, and he knows a quality player when he sees one.
Phillips is brilliant and is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

It was only last season that the 25-year-old played in the Premier League for the first time.
However, people who have watched him under Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa for the past three years will tell you know that Phillips has been superb for a while.
The midfielder was arguably the best player on the pitch when England beat Croatia.
Phillips held his own in the middle of the park and provided the assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal.
As stated on UEFA’s official website, Phillips had a pass accuracy of 91%, made three tackles and covered 10.3km.
