How would Celtic get on in the Premier League? Scott Brown says the fans would ensure a smooth transition.

Scott Brown has told SPORTbible that Celtic fans would take over if the club was in the Premier League.
Celtic reaffirmed their dominance of Scottish football last month by clinching a third successive domestic treble.
Such a feat has raised the hypothetical question of how the Hoops would fare in England’s top flight.
And inspirational captain Brown, a £4.4 million signing 12 years ago, reckons that he and his team-mates would continue to ‘thrive off’ the atmosphere that Bhoys fans drum up every week.
“I think our fans would take over,” he told SPORTbible.
“Our fan support all over the world is huge and I think that’s definitely one thing we would thrive off. They show their love to every single player that comes on the park and that’s what makes them very, very special.”
Winning trophies never gets boring, but Celtic desperately need better competition for the sake of excitement next season.
Rangers have improved under Steven Gerrard and yet a nine-point difference between both sides in the Scottish Premiership table last season indicates that a gulf in quality remains.
Celtic won’t be making the move into English football any time soon. In the mean time, the onus is on Rangers et al to raise their standard and push Neil Lennon’s side close next term.
