The Hoops continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win over Dundee on Saturday.
Celtic captain Scott Brown has told the club’s official website that the difference for them under current boss Brendan Rodgers and former manager Ronny Deila has been night and day.
Rodgers took charge at the Scottish champions this summer after Deila elected to depart at the end of last season.
He has been an instant hit at Celtic Park, leading the Bhoys to the top of the table and unbeaten in seven games so far.
They have also reached the Champions League group stages for the first time in two years, recently playing out a scintillating 3-3 draw with Manchester City.
Celtic’s style has taken a dramatic upturn in quality under the former Liverpool boss and Brown says the difference for everyone in the squad has been clear to see.
“I’m learning from the manager and his tactical discipline, rather than just running about and tackling people,” he told the club’s official website.
“From this season to last season it has been night and day for everyone and to get a good pre-season under my belt has been the main thing.”
Saturday afternoon saw the Hoops continue their unbeaten start to the season as they beat Dundee away from home.
It was a highly frustrating afternoon for Rodgers’ side, who had to rely on their captain to get them the winning goal.
It was Brown’s first of the season and while he hopes there is more to come he says it does not matter to him who is getting the goals.
“It was my first of the season in the league so hopefully there are a couple more this season,” he added.
“At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter to me who scores the goals, as long as we get three points on the board and get the performance.”
