Stoke City reportedly want to sign Scott Bain, who is on loan at Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic from Dundee at the moment.

Scott Bain has told The Scottish Sun that he wants to remain at Celtic beyond the summer of 2018.
Bain joined Celtic on loan from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper’s current loan deal at the Hoops runs out at the end of the season, and the former Aberdeen prospect has stated that he wants to remain at Celtic Park.
The Scotsman has also revealed that he has spoken to Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers about his intention to carry on playing for the Glasgow giants, and has disclosed that the former Liverpool boss wants him to be at the club next season.

Bain told The Scottish Sun: “I’ve had a chat with the manager and told him I want to stay at Celtic.
“He’s keen for me to be here and I’m hopeful that I will be at this great club for years to come.”

Disappointment for Stoke City
According to The Scottish Sun, Premier League club Stoke City are interested in signing Bain on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.
However, it seems that the 26-year-old wants to play for Celtic, and the Potters look set to be disappointed in their quest to secure the goalkeeper’s services.
Bain has done well for Celtic so far since his loan move from Dundee, and he would be a good signing for Brendan Rodgers’s side in the long run.
