Rangers midfielder admits form has not been good enough.
Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield has admitted the team’s performances have not been good enough.
The Gers are back to winning ways with back to back victories over Hearts and Motherwell.
Rangers went through March without winning a game, losing the Old Firm match and Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Arfield told the Rangers official website that he supporters’ frustrations during this time.
He said: “That is six goals in two games and that is what we want to do, we want to entertain fans.
“They were quite rightly angry with March, we fell away quickly and in the dressing room it wasn’t good enough and we knew that.
“It is all about now, bouncing back and getting after teams.”
Rangers deserve credit for the way they have responded to the Old Firm loss.
It’s too little too late in terms of winning silverware this season, but there are positives to take from ending the season on a high.
Last season under Graeme Murty, Rangers fell apart after a narrow loss to Celtic in March.
This time they have bounced back well, and have a chance to end the campaign on a high with a winning run.
