Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers look set to sign Scott Arfield, who is leaving Burnley, but he has yet to speak to Gers manager Steven Gerrard.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who is leaving Premier League club Burnley this summer, has admitted that he has yet to speak to Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard was recently appointed as the Rangers manager and will take charge of the first team from next month.

Anfield said on Sky Sports News (10:49am, Monday, May 14, 2018) about joining Rangers: “Terrific. It has been a long time coming, and hopefully the next four years are going to be fantastic.”
When asked if he has spoken to Gerrard yet, Arfield said: “No, no, not yet.”

Good signing for Rangers?
As reported by The Scottish Sun, Arfield will be a free signing for Rangers, as he is out of contract at Premier League side Burnley this summer.
The Canada international midfielder is earning £20,000 per week as salary, according to The Scottish Sun.
Having played in the Premier League and having been successful in the English top flight, the former Huddersfield Town star would not have any problem in adapting to the game in Scotland.
Moreover, Arfield started his professional club football at Falkirk and represented Scotland at the Scotland Under-19 and Under-21 level.
