Tam McManus has dismissed suggestions on Twitter that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have been handed a harder start than Neil Lennon’s Celtic.
Rangers will kick off their 2020-21 Scottish Premiership campaign with an away match against Aberdeen.
The Gers will be aiming to stop their bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic from making it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row next season.
Celtic’s first match in the league will be against Hamilton Academical at Celtic Park.
Former Hibernian forward McManus has given his take on the suggestions on Twitter, with the Scotsman telling a Celtic fan that if Rangers want to win the title, then they have to be confident of winning every match, including the one against Aberdeen on the opening game.
Massive season
Celtic will start next season as favourites and will be determined to make it 10 league titles in a row.
However, Rangers will be keen on making sure that it does not happen, and manager Gerrard will make sure that his players give their all in each and every game.
Lennon will also know that his Celtic players have to be on top of their game right from the first match.
