Steven Naismith has predicted on PLZ Soccer that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will win against John Kennedy’s Celtic at Ibrox this weekend.
Rangers will take on Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Scotland international star Naismith, a former Rangers player who is now on the books of Heart of Midlothian, has backed the Gers to win the tie against the Hoops.
Naismith said on on PLZ Soccer: “I think he (Rangers manager Steven Gerrard) knows how big it will be, so for that Rangers will go through. I just think they are more fluid, they are more composed in the way they are playing. In the last Old Firm, Rangers weren’t at their best, and I think the manager will make that clear what’s to be expected.”
Big game
Rangers were not at their best in the last Old Firm derby, and manager Gerrard will be determined for his players to be at their best against Celtic.
The Gers will know that winning against the Hoops will essentially end their season.

As for Celtic, having lost the Scottish Premiership title to Rangers, they will be determined to win the Scottish Cup and salvage something from the season.
The Old Firm derby this weekend will be massive and could be a classic. Both Rangers and Celtic will be going for the win, and there should be a lot of drama and excitement.
There could be a fair few goals in the tie at Ibrox as well.
