Scotland sit top of their UEFA Nations League group and are now seven games unbeaten having claimed a 1-0 win over Slovakia on Sunday.
Steve Clarke’s men saw off Israel on penalties on Thursday night, and were looking to win in 90 minutes against Slovakia.
That’s exactly what they did, as Lyndon Dykes turned home Stephen O’Donnell’s cross to give Scotland a 1-0 win at Hampden Park.
It may not be pretty at times, but Scotland will only really care about the results, and Clarke got one with a pretty bold decision.
Clarke went with Dykes up front on his own, but used Newcastle United’s Ryan Fraser in something of a free role working off and around the QPR target man.
Fraser enjoyed a strong performance, as he looks to build some match sharpness having not started regularly since last season.

Newcastle will want to see Fraser fit and firing, and Scotland fans have been taking to Twitter to praise his performance, in reviews that will delight the Magpies.
Fans called Fraser “immense”, “superb” and a “real difference maker”, believing he needs to be playing regularly for Scotland.
Others named him their man of the match, believing he really adds something to the Scotland side – and Newcastle will be hoping for more of the same.
