West Bromwich Albion loaned out Oliver Burke to Celtic, but that move has done little to enhance his reputation.

Scotland fans have absolutely slated West Bromwich Albion forward Oliver Burke’s latest international display.

Burke was selected to lead the line for his country against Belgium last night, but the West Brom man did not impress.

Burke struggled to have any impact on the match, as Scotland lost 3-0 to the world’s number one ranked side.

And West Brom fans will not enjoy reading the reviews of the attacker, who is due back at the Hawthorns next season.

West Brom loaned out Burke to Celtic for the second half of last season, to try and help him gain some confidence.

The 22-year-old has struggled ever since moving to Albion back in 2017 and his form is becoming worrying.

Even on his loan spell with Celtic, Burke did very little to convince West Brom that he has what it takes to become a regular starter in a side chasing Premier League football.

In fairness to Burke he did have a rather thankless task last night, as he was starved of service.

But the West Brom man really needs to start turning opinions around, otherwise it seems that he could be heading towards the exit door at the Hawthorns sooner rather than later.
