Rangers midfielder was selected to start for Scotland against Holland.

Rangers star Ryan Jack made his international debut for Scotland last night in a friendly defeat to Holland.
Jack lined up at right-back in temporary manager Malky Mackay’s setup and acquitted himself well.
Every touch made by Jack was controversially booed by sections of his own support, with club loyalties running deep.

The friendly match was being played at Pittodrie, home stadium of Aberdeen – who Jack quit in the summer to join Rangers.
Jack has had a mixed spell at Rangers so far, failing to show his best form and being sent off three times.

Getting a look in at international level at last will lift Jack’s confidence ahead of a crucial spell for him at Rangers.
The Light Blues are yet to make a decision over their next manager after sacking Pedro Caixinha, and it has been speculated that it could be Jack’s former Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes.
Jack’s performance split supporters, here is a look at the reaction on Twitter…
