The Celtic skipper admits both rank as his best moments in a Hoops shirt.

Celtic captain Charlie Mulgrew is certainly one to wear the green and white shirt with pride.

And it’s no surprise, then, that the defender-cum-midfielder ranks scoring against arch rivals Rangers as one of his best ever moments at Celtic.

Indeed, during a Sportlobster Q + A, when asked what his best moment in a Celtic jersey was, the skipper wrote:

“That’s between beating Barcelona and scoring against Rangers! Can’t choose!”

Mulgrew answered a wide range of questions, revealing that Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster were the two best Celtic players he had ever played with.

And the 28-year-old also discussed what the Celtic crest means to him:

“It means as much to me as it does to every Celtic fan out there,” he said. “For me to pull that top on and wear that crest, is a great honour and something I’ll never take for granted.”

The Bhoys will renew their fierce rivalry with Rangers in February, when they meet in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.
