Antonio continued his fantastic record of scoring against the Premier League’s top clubs, netting the equaliser against Pep Guardiola’s side on Saturday afternoon just one week after bagging against Tottenham.
Antonio showed his striking instincts reacting incredibly quickly to Jesse Lingard’s wayward effort, turning the ball into the net to level the game.
City fans are bound to have been annoyed at Antonio ending their incredible run of clean sheets at the Etihad, but they couldn’t help but admire his performance.
Antonio was an absolute nuisance for City’s backline on Saturday constantly pressing and harrying Ruben Dias and John Stones as Guardiola’s outfit tried to play out from the back.
City ended up getting all three points, but the fans knew they were in a game on Saturday and Antonio picked up a lot of plaudits for his showing.
