Prices in the Championship have steadily been increasing over the years and loyal supporters are starting to find it tougher and tougher to keep up with watching their team all over the country.
The upcoming Lancashire derby between Bolton and Wigan could end up being a fiery affair, but at £35, you could instead buy three Bundesliga tickets to watch German top-flight football for the same price.

To make matters worse for supporters, both clubs are in a rut at the moment and looking at the statistics heading in to the clash, it’s hardly a mouth-watering tie likely to produce a hatful of goals.

Three straight defeats have seen Wigan drop down to 16th in the Championship table after an impressive start, and the Latics have the worst away record in the league with seven defeats in eight away matches.
With both teams expected to finish in or around the bottom eight this season, the pricing structure is a sign of how out of reach owners are with their club’s supporters with Bolton averaging 14,000 attendance this season with a stadium capacity of just over 28,700.
