Jay Rodriguez and Kemar Roofe have both been in impressive form this season and West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United face off on Saturday.

West Bromwich Albion face Leeds United at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening and just to whet our appetites for the game that little bit more, StatZone tweeted regarding the stats of their danger men.
Kemar Roofe is the man stealing all the recent headlines with three goals in his last three games for Leeds. The 25-year-old English striker has a total of seven strikes in only 10 starts in the Championship.
West Brom’s Jay Rodriguez has not scored in the last two outings but he does have eight goals this season, having started all of the Baggies’ 16 league games.
Roofe has a slightly higher average number of shots per game with 2.2 per 90, compared to Rodriguez’s two per 90 but the West Brom striker shooting accuracy is notably higher, with 59% of his shots on target. Roofe has managed just 50% of his shots on target so far.
When it comes to other aspects of their games, the two players are hitting similar levels of performance. They both have 11 key passes to their names with Roofe shading it on passing accuracy, 76% to 74%. Jay Rodriguez has 10 offsides, preferring to play off the defenders shoulder at every opportunity. Roofe has only been flagged for offside four times.

Roofe has taken the Championship by storm, helping to propel Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds team to the top of the league. He has averaged a goal every 118 minutes which is 0.7 goals per 90. Stats courtesy of SofaScore.
Rodriguez, 29, averages a goal every 171 minutes, or 0.5 goals per 90, as per SofaScore.
West Brom are currently seventh in the Championship, five points behind Leeds United. Rodriguez will be looking to close that gap on Saturday and, at present, they are slight favourites to take all three points from Bielsa, Roofe and co despite Leeds’ impressive recent form.
