Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have made significant progress under Steven Gerrard in Europe.

Papac was part of the Rangers side who made the Europa League final back in 2008, and has been desperate for similar success to happen again at Ibrox.
But Rangers’ have struggled in European action over recent years, with a list of failures.
Steven Gerrard’s side may still have some way to go to match the achievements of Rangers in 2008, but they have improved considerably this time around.
Although Rangers lost their last match 4-3 to Spartak Moscow, they are still in with a chance of making it out of a tough group.
And Papac said: “It’s great to see Rangers in Europe again. I have watched every game on TV and seeing those matches at Ibrox again is terrific.
“I am so surprised by it because we have not been in Europe over the past few years and the lads have coped with it really well.

“The team has the opportunity to make that next step and the games against Villarreal and Rapid Vienna are very important for them.”
Rangers’ next match in the competition comes against Villarreal at Ibrox, and a victory for Gerrard’s side would put them within touching distance of qualification.
When Gerrard’s side clashed with the La Liga outfit in Spain, they managed to come out with a credible 2-2 draw.
