Everton boss Marco Silva is attempting to strengthen his squad for next season, with Santiago Arias and David Neres both said to be on his radar.

If Everton land both Santiago Arias and David Neres this summer they could have an absolutely rapid right-hand side next season.

The Liverpool Echo suggests that Atletico Madrid defender Arias is a possible target for Everton, while the Telegraph claims that Neres is on Marco Silva’s side’s radar.

The pair could form a completely new right-hand side at Goodison Park, if they are both signed.

And the potential to see Arias and Neres in action together is an exciting one for Everton fans.

Arias and Neres would make a very attack minded duo for Everton, and they could cause defences plenty of problems.

Arias is absolutely rapid and loves to bust forward at every opportunity. Neres’s strength also lies in his speed, and he can terrorise opposition full-backs with his directness.

If the pair were working in tandem, then Everton’s opponents would have to very wary of the damage that Silva’s side could do to them on the counter attack.

And the possible double swoop looks like it could be very appealing to the Toffees.
