The 20-year-old is currently on loan at RB Leipzig.
Franco Vazquez of Sevilla FC celebrates with his teammates Joaquin Correa and Sandro Ramirez
Everton owned forward Sandro has made his feelings clear about a return to Goodison Park this week. Speaking to Radio Marca, as relayed by Fichajes, he spoke of his desire to remain at the Sanchez Pizjuan next season.
“I’ve been here two weeks and I want to continue next season at Sevilla. I’m really where I want to be.”
Everton beat a host of clubs to snap up the former Barcelona talent from Malaga in the summer. He cost a fee reported by Sky Sports to be in the region of £5.25 million but the bargain buy has struggled.
Leipzig’s English midfielder Ademola Lookman
If Sandro was to leave however, it could be good news for one Everton player.
Ademola Lookman has struggled to have a regular impact at Everton recently and, like Sandro, plays as a striker and on the left-wing.
He was sent out on loan to RB Leipzig in January and swiftly scored on his Bundesliga debut.
Everton’s Ademola Lookman celebrates
If Sandro is to move on permanently it would give Lookman a better direct pathway to the Everton first-team.
The talented attacker is very popular among the Everton fans, who rate him very highly and would love to see him get more opportunities if and when he returns to Goodison Park in the summer.
With Sandro out of the picture, that would be a much more likely scenario for the 20-year-old.
